Is there one spot in your yard that needs a little professional magic? FarWest’s We Plan, You Plant program is ideal for weekend warriors tackling one area that deserves a thoughtful, creative design. We collaborate with you to craft a plan you’ll enjoy for years, while you handle the installation whenever it works for you.
Many customers choose multiple We Plan, You Plant booklets and move through their landscape project one area at a time.
How does it work?
Steps for We Plan, You Plant:
1. Purchase the We Plan, You Plant booklet at FarWest or online.
2. Complete the booklet at home and email photos of your space to our designer (you will meet at FarWest).
3. Drop off the completed booklet at the nursery.
4. Our designer creates a plan for one area of your yard and contacts you with any questions. (Large yards may require multiple plans.)
5. Meet with our designer in person (about 2 weeks later) to review your plan at FarWest Garden Center.
6. Receive a FarWest gift card to use toward plants during your meeting with our designer meeting.
*Please note: Large yards or multiple areas may require 3–4 We Plan, You Plant programs, depending on size. For projects involving irrigation, grading, patios, drainage, berms, or other hardscaping, contact FarWest’s Landscape Department at: design@farwestlandscape.net

Questions
Does FarWest’s We Plan designer come to my house?
No, all contact is through email and onsite at FarWest Garden Center once the plan is drawn.
Can’t meet in person at FarWest?
No problem! A virtual meeting can be done to go over the plan via zoom, FaceTime, Skype, etc., if that is a better option for you. Our designer will schedule your in-person or virtual 45-minute to 1-hour meeting to go over the plan.
Does my gift card expire?
No, but it is like cash, so hang on to it!
When choosing plants, does the designer have to help me choose or swap plants after our meeting?
No, all of our FarWest Garden Assistants are knowledgeable and able to help you with plant selections or make substitutions. Bring your finished plan with you when you shop, we do not keep an extra copy.
